COLLABORATIVE DISCOURSE STUDY CENTERS:
We seek to establish and manage a collaborative Africa-China Discourse Studies Center in partnership with universities throughout Africa. This center shall serve as a hub for discourse studies and research, academic cooperation, and knowledge sharing among scholars, students, and practitioners who are interested in the field of discourse, particularly diplomatic discourse between Africa and China.
Focus Areas:
The Center shall focus on the following main areas:
Introduction of Novel and Modern Academic Discipline: We aim to introduce novel and internationally recognized academic disciplines to African universities.
Digital Classrooms: Through our collaborative centers, we aim to establish the first digital classrooms that can connect students from different countries and optimize learning.
National Image Analysis: We analyze the projection and perception of the national image of specific countries and how discourse can shape or reshape it.
Inter-University Collaboration: We also facilitate and promote academic and cultural collaboration between African and Chinese universities. We encourage research and study with a focus on discourse construction, translation, and communication with a specific emphasis on the partner university’s country in Africa.
Our Academic Exchange Programs:
The programme facilitates a 2+3 or 3+2 inter-university double certification exchange programme. The course of study will be agreed upon by both parties, with a focus on Africa-China discourse, language, and/or cultural studies. The exchange programme is designed to enhance academic and cultural understanding between students from Africa and China.
Please note that this programme is exclusively open to partner universities.
Student Engagement:
Send us an email for our MoU if you’re a University or Higher Institution interested in collaborating.
